Southern Wild Distillery

Southern Wild Distillery is no stranger to utilizing fresh ingredients in their spirits. Tucked in the centre of the coastal city of Devonport, their gins are made with water from Cradle Mountain’s snowmelt delivered through the Dasher and Fisher rivers.

All Dasher + Fisher gins are vaporised in a copper still, giving it that smooth mouthfeel. The botanicals, which are harvested from local growers, undergo a slower condensation process so that each flavour stands out.

There are multiple variations of Dasher + Fisher gin. Their classic Meadow Gin has a summery flavour brought on by lavender, orange, sage, and other herbaceous botanicals plucked from Tasmanian gardens.

Another classic is Ocean Gin, which is uniquely flavoured with wakame seaweed and hints of ocean spray and rose petals.

You can also try their limited-edition and award-winning Strawberry Gin. It’s made with handpicked strawberries, which give it a distinct sweetness and a soft red appearance.
