Husk Distillers is the creator of the famous Ink Gin- the dark blue Gin that turns into a stunning pink when tonic water is mixed. Husk Distillers, while greatly known for being Australia’s only boutique sugar plantation and agricole rum distillery, offers you more than just rum because it is also home to one of Australia’s bestselling and most-loved craft gins.

Distiller Paul Messenger, being curious about the changing colour-changing properties of the Butterfly Pea, began experimenting with the exotic flower legume. Having spent 3 years assessing a wide range of botanicals, Husk Distillers finally released the Ink Gin in 2015- the original and patented butterfly pea gin.

Husk Distillers did not stop with Ink Gin. 4 years after it brought Ink Gin, it introduced its new baby: Ink Sloe & Berry Gin. While Ink Gin is made up of 13 organic botanicals and has a fresh piney, spicy and citrusy aroma and flavour, its Ink Sloe & Berry Gin, on the other hand, features a different take when it comes to the usual and classic sloe gin, and is ideal when you opt to drinking less and enjoying the experience more.
