Joadja Distillery

2019 Bronze Medalist for

Joadja Distillery is the maker of Joadja Dry Gin, the Bronze Medalist at the 2019 ADSA (Australian Distilled Spirits Awards). Hidden in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Australia, you can spend the day here, visit the café on-site, and have the opportunity to visit a site of world heritage significance.

The Jimenez family, who currently own and manage Joadja Town, drew inspiration from the Scottish heritage in the valley and the history of “”sly grog”” to establish Joadja Distillery in 2014. Today, Joadja Distillery is one of only a few of Single Malt Whiskey distilleries in the world who cultivate their own barley and own their own spring, and that certainly sets them apart when taking into account where its unique flavours are developed.

Joadja Distillery may be widely recognized for its whiskey, but their gin is nothing short of ordinary. Joadja Distillery Dry Gin is handcrafted in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales and is made using the distillery’s own pristine water, together with a delicate balance of traditional and Australian botanicals.

Whenever you are in Joadja town, visit Joadja Distillery’s cellar door where you can get to experience how nature’s ingredients are harnessed, and you can avail of this distillery tour and tastings for free!
