Lawrenny Estate Distillery

One of the oldest distilleries here in Tasmania that produces whiskies and gins. Lawrenny Estate Distillery is a top-notched spirits producer since its inception back in 1991. With its exceptional location and climate, along with the pure waters of River Derwent, high-quality crops and botanicals that are homegrown by the Estate, and the unique Tasmanian air which all are deemed to be perfect for the establishment of a distillery.

They have come a long way tracing back their roots from the 1800s. The numerous awards they have garnered both from the national and international bodies for their products were just humble testaments of the passion and dedication their put into their distilling craft.

Their gins boldly resemble the spirit of Tasmania. Their Van Diemer’s Gin, 1818 Settlers Gin, Highlands Gin are magnificent drinks that were made through a signature distillation process which is further enhanced by the incorporation of traditional and modern ideas of gin-making. With the emergence of new ideas and concepts, they were also able to come up with a pink gin that is infused with local Australian fruits and the rare hibiscus flower.
