Tara distillery

Tara Distillery distills their own spirits that reflects the passion of the owners, Australian-Irish heritage, and pride of tradition and culture. It is founded in 2019 by a team of close friends that wanted to impart a handcrafted traditional but truly unique spirit.

The owners spent a lot of time in Ireland and they fell in love with how the Irish people have been storing the liquors. The gin still has an Irish classic look in a long neck bottle.

Tara Distillery’s Gin is handcrafted with only the finest local botanicals from Australia and Ireland infused in fresh rainwater, produced in two copper pot stills to undergo the proper chemical reaction needed.

The classic Single Malts and Pure Pot Still Whiskey together with Australia’s crafted spirit, the Tara Distillery wishes to deliver grand tradition spirit infused with energy and passion in a handcrafted Australian way. The Tara Distillery also suffers from temperature fluctuations because of the geographical location but they make sure that their barrels are expanding and contracting to ensure the proper fermentation of the liquors.

The distillery’s key focus is sustainability, harvesting rainwater, feeds the left grains to local cattle, and re-use what needs to be re-used to reduce waste.
