The couple, Rob and Bek, owns a certified organic farm where they source the main ingredients of locally produced vodkas and gin. While they may source grains and botanicals outside their farm, they ensure that every little drop comes from organic farm-grown produce.
The magic started from a simple bottled partnership by Rob and Greg. While Bek and their children craft the bottles and labels, the drinking buddies took their experiments on finely grown grains, botanicals, and organics. They mastered the art of roasting, distilling, and fermenting to craft the farm-grown bottled wonders in small batches like Tuckombil Dry Gin and Flinders Island Gin.
Best served with a few cubes of ice and thin slices of citrus fruits like lemon, the Tuckombil Dry Gin is one of the best-known produces from Tintenbar. The pot-distilled attempt to the traditional dry gin turned out to be a perfect blend from their local harvests of citrus peels, ginger, and juniper.
While the locals can’t get any more proud than their Tuckombil Dry Gin, Tintenbar also distills gin in a pot for organics harvested in Flinders Island in Tasmania. The Flinders Island Gin blends native juniper, mountain pepper berry, and daisybush perfectly.
