Small Batch Australian Gin and Whiskey

Nestled away in the mountains in Wondecla, Queensland, Wild River Distillery was established in 2017 by Wes Marks together with his wife, Amy. Theirs is one of the highest elevated distilleries creating a great environment for distilling and ageing Australian whisky. Nature is an integral part of the process with how the climate and elevation help the aging process to produce a high-quality spirit. Combined with his career in the agricultural industry, brewing and distilling has been an integral part of their lives.

Combining old and new methods of distilling, they went through various steps of brewing, fermenting, yeast selection, and homemade stills. Each spirit is carefully made, drawing out the full and rich flavours from the different ingredients and blends used.

Enjoy their selection of whisky and gin that each have a unique flavour. With the use of their custom-designed copper stills, they are all handcrafted in small batches. These liquor and spirits use locally-produced Australian ingredients such as the Australian malted barley, and corn from the Atherton Tablelands.

Taking advantage of the cool climate because of the elevation, this helps the process of distilling and gives more control over the still. The result is a spirit of high-quality and more flavourful.
